1. Choose the right IP ratingGround spots must above all be resistant to water and dirt. Therefore, pay particular attention to the IP rating of the ground spotlight:

- IP67 or higher: Fully waterproof and ideal for open spaces or near ponds.
2. Choose the right materialBecause ground spots are outdoors, they should be made of sturdy material:
- Stainless Steel (SS): Durable and rust-resistant.
- Aluminum: Lightweight and resistant to weathering.
- Plastic: Often cheaper and suitable for decorative lighting. Less suitable in direct sun and under load (walkability).
3. Pay attention to the light sourceLED ground spots are the best choice because they are energy efficient and durable. Want a warm atmosphere? Then choose LEDs with a warm white color (2700K-3000K).
